New office bearers for Catholic Sabha of Kundapura

Kundapur, February 20: The annual general body meeting and election of office bearers of Kundapura Rosary church catholic Sabha unit was held at church hall.

 

Jacob D’Souza was unanimously elected as the president for this year. Former President Wilson Almeida welcomed the gathering and shared his feelings. Shaila Almeida – the Secretary read the annual reports. Walter D’Souza –the Treasurer presented the annual accounts. Rev. Fr. Ani D’Souza - the Chief Spiritual Director blessed the gathering and said “do the good things and work hard in order to bring good name to the church”.

Former president is Wilson Almeida, Shaila Almeida was selected as the Deputy Chairman, William D’Souza as Vice President, Juliet Pais as Secretary, Nirmala D’Souza as Assistant Secretary, Prema Coutinho as treasurer, Louis Carvalho as joint Treasurer, Walter D’Souza as the representative of Sandesha, Bernad J. Costa as Political Convener, Vinod Crasto as Convener of Govt Facility, Shanti Baretto and Sunil D’Souza as accountants, Robert D’Souza, Lona Louis, Maichael Gonsalves and Antony D’Almeida were elected as members of the committee.

Kiran Crasto and Herik Gonsalves of Catholic hall were present as election officers. Assistant Paris Priest Rev. Jerald Sandeep D’mello and Felcian D’Souza Almeida rendered the vote of thanks. Juliet Pais compered the programme.
