New science block inaugurated at St Aloysius PU College

Mangaluru: The blessings and inauguration ceremony of a new science block at St Aloysius Pre-University College was held on Saturday. The new block, which is situated on the third floor, was blessed by Fr Ravi Kumar Santhosh Kamath. The chief guest on the occasion, Fr Denzil Lobo, former rector, St Aloysius Institutions, inaugurated the new block by cutting the ribbon. Fr Dionysius Vaz, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Fr Melwin Mendonca, principal, St Aloysius PU College and Fr Leo D'Souza accompanied them.

Fr Denzil who spoke on the occasion said that it was a happy moment for all as the construction was completed on time. Fr Melwin Mendonca said that they faced many challenges to complete this building. He said collective efforts resulted in a new building before the beginning of new academic year.

Rector Fr Dionysius lauded the efforts of the entire team behind the construction of the new block.
The architect, contractor and sub-contractors were felicitated by the rector and chief guests.

Reena Monteiro compered the programme. Bhavani MP delivered the vote of thanks.
