One Day workshop on Vision & Mission at Milagres College, Kallianpur

Udupi: He was speaking during in his presiding address on inauguration of one day workshop on Revisiting the Vision and Mission of the college, at Milagres College Audio Visual Hall, Kallianpur. Bishop said that it is serious to draw the vision and mission of the college on the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebration of Milagres College, Kallianpur. Our college should be model to others by our successful creativity and others should learn from our institutions. Our mission would be first priorities are students, their learning and their success.

Dr. A. H. Sequeira Prof. & Head of Department of Management, NITK, Suratkal near Mangaluru was the resource person for one day workshop.

In his inaugural address Very Rev Fr. Lawrence D’Souza Secretary of Catholic Educational Society, Udupi and Secretary of Milagres College Management said that whether we look back 50 years, the founders of the college would have a clear mission and vision. Our task should be revisited to find out to make reflection and find solutions and redefined the college take into consideration is very important. We have to come out with the vision of the college. Our mission should through a unique blend of curricular; experiential delivered within a student centric culture.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Dr Gerald Pinto Principal of Milagres College, Rev Fr. Prakash Anil Castelino Campus Director, Savitha Kumari Principal of Milagres PU College and Mr. Naik PTA President among others present on the dais.

The program started with an invocation prayer by Anupama Jogi. Dr. Jayaram Shettigar, Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college welcomed and compared the inaugural session of the workshop while Prof Shylet Mathais Secretary, Staff Council of the college proposed vote of thanks. Teachers, Alumni and students were participated during a one day workshop.
