The Department of Sociology of Brahmavar Crossland College in association with Mangalore Sociology Association ®,Mangalore is organizing a UGC sponsored inter disciplinary seminar on women empowerment –trends and strategies and paper presentation competition for under graduate and post graduate students on Tuesday,26th September at Crossland College.Dr.Anitha Ravishankar,Director,Centre for women studies, Mangalore university will inaugurate and deliver the key note address.

Prof.Melwin Rego,President,Mangalore Sociology Association is the Chief Guest of the valedictory function. The degree and pg students can participate in the seminar. Each college can depute 4 students including paper presenters.
