Udupi: Karnataka Dalit Associations Okkoota, Udupi, Dalit Backward Minorities Mahaokkuta, Udupi and other organizations staged a protest in Ajjarkad condemning the alleged rape and murder of a minor girl in Vijayapura, Karnataka.

Speaking to protestors, Sunder Master, State Secretary of Dalit Association condemned the brutal murder of innocent minor. "Where are the people who protested in Honnavar death case ? The atrocities on dalits and backward people have increased in the country. Obviously for the vote bank, some of the fundamentalist groups gave fire in the streets of Uttar Kannada and when the dalit minor found murdered after group rape, where are these people, he questioned.

"Hindu terrorism in the country has increased very steadily. We should be aware of the motives behind the killings of minor school children. The Dalits and backwards should get security from the majority people of the country," he added.
