Orientation Programme at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: On the occasion of commencement of academic year 2017-18, an orientation programme was conducted for the students of second and final year Degree at St Philomena College Puttur on June 19, 2017.

 

The programme was inaugurated by the Correspondent Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto. In his presidential address he said, ‘The students who work with discipline, obedience, harmony and dedication will become good citizens of the country.’

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, in his address said, ‘Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha presented the rules and regulations of the college. Ms. Anarghya of final year BSc presented the prayer song. The Student Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumar M extended the formal welcome. The Student Welfare Officer Mrs. Bharathi S Rai compered the programme.
