PG Department of Economics organised ‘Fresher’s Day’ at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: The Post Graduate Department of Economics of St Philomena College, Puttur organised ‘Fresher’s Day’ on September 6, 2016 in college auditorium.

The chief guest of this programme Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Chairperson of Centre for PG Studies and Research said, ‘The success is determined by commitment and hard work.’

The Co-ordinator of the Department Prof. Dinakara Rao expressed his best wishes to all the freshers and said, ‘The students must build positive, strong and right attitude to succeed in life. It is the right attitude that determines altitude of success.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha in his presidential address said, ‘Doing right things at a right time brings great success.’

The faculty members of the Department were present on the occasion. Ms. Ishwarya and team presented the prayer song. Ms. Deepthi welcomed the gathering. Ms. Shalet Lavita Veigas proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Pavithra G compered the programme.
