PG Dept of Mathematics of St Philomena College Puttur organized a Workshop

Puttur: The Post Graduate Department of Mathematics of St Philomena College Puttur organized a workshop on ‘Methodology for Project work in Mathematics’ on March 20, 2017 in PG Seminar Hall.

Dr. B. R. Shankar, Associate Professor, NITK, Surathkal participated as chief guest and the resource person. He said, ‘Mathematics has grown beyond our imagination. Today, mark card alone is not sufficient to know the real quality of the students.’

Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Chairperson for PG Studies presided over the function.

Dr. Shobha M. E, Assistant Professor, MIT, Manipal participated as the resource person. Prof. Ganesh Bhat, Coordinator of the Department was present on this occasion.

Ms. Crystal Jyothi Priya D’Souza and group presented the prayer song. The faculty of the Department Mr. Prasad H M welcomed the gathering and Ms. Vaishnavi C proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Pallavi K compered the programme.
