Udupi: Pejaear seer said that the intention behind constructing the residential school was to provide modern education along with Indian spiritual ethos. The residential school would be named Ananda Tirtha Vidyalaya.
It has been constructed in 40 acres of land at Pajaka, the birthplace of exponent of Dwaita philosophy, Sri Madhwacharya.
This mutt already runs a school till class 6 there. A pre-university college too would be built there along with hostel facilities at Pajaka at a cost of Rs. 5 crore.
A special school was being constructed at Neelavar village to cater to the needs of special children. This is an initiative of Vishwaprasanna Tirtha, junior seer.
