Palemar asks people not to panic over demonetizing currency

Mangaluru: Former Minister Krishna J Palemar said that people need not panic over demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.

Addressing media at BJP office on Tuesday Palemar welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surgical strike of black money. He said that new currencies will be printed and distributed to banks and ATM’s and everything will be back to normal within a month time.

"This step will definitely bring changes in Indian economy and people need to co-operate with the decision of government to eradicate corruption. During the development of economy the rupee value will also be increased. Everyone has appreciated the move by Narendra Modi to demonetize currency," he added.
