Parish Day at Our Lady of Miracles Church, Mangalore was celebrated on 20th January 2024.

The parishioners along with the clergy and the religious of Milagres parish celebrated Parish day on Saturday. Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, the principal of the Padua College, Mangalore was the main celebrant for the thanksgiving mass, joined by the clergy of the parish and Fr Royston Madtha S.J. Fr Arun in his homily stressed on building our hearts and minds for Jesus.

 

After the Eucharistic celebration the parishioners had a cultural evening exhibiting the talents of all, from the young to the old. Children performed dances and musical skits, YCS and ICYM members entertained the gathering with their splendid dance medleys. Mothers danced to the tune of Konkani folklore music and other parishioners took part in a comedy play.

The parishioners and guests were later treated to a sumptuous meal prepared by the parishioners and the programme ended with traditional Baila dancing.
