PhD conferred on SJEC’s Dr Babitha Rohit

Mangaluru: Dr Babitha Rohit, assistant professor in the department of Business Administration at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) recently.

She was awarded the PhD for her thesis titled Market Response to Stock Splits and Rights Issue Announcements: A Study with Reference to Bombay Stock Exchange, India by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The thesis has been prepared under the guidance of Dr Prakash Pinto, professor and dean, department of Business Administration, St Joseph Engineering College.

SJEC congratulates Dr Babitha Rohit on this wonderful achievement and wishes her the best in all her future endeavours.
