Mangaluru: Senior Congress Leader Janardhana Poojary lambasted Deputy Chairman of Karnataka State Planning Commission CM Ibrahim for his remarks against Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah.

Addressing Media persons at the Press Club on Saturday, October 22 , Poojary said, "Siddaramaiah should sack CM Ibrahim from Deputy Chairman Post for his remarks. Ibrahim was in JDS before he left to join the Congress and so far he has done nothing good for the Congress party. Siddaramaiah has failed to understand the conspiracy of Devegowda led JD(S) against Congress."

Reagrding Nethravathi project, he said, "State government is trying to destroy Nethravathi River by diverting water from Yettinahole. The two former chief Ministers have given wrong facts and figures to Siddaramaiah to implement the project. This project is promoted with vested interest and it will make coastal region into barren land."
