Udupi: Pramod Madhwaraj Abhimani Balaga organized on the occasion of 49th Birthday of Pramod Madhwaraj a free medical camp at Town Hall campus here on 17th October, 2016. The free health camp was inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj, Minister of Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment.

In his address Pramod Madhwaraj, said that he never believed in celebrating his birthday but his party workers insisted him to celebrate. But it is a great satisfaction that a health check up camp was organized on his birthday. It was his party workers who brought him great satisfaction. He said party workers are his biggest asset. It would be fact that elected representatives have lot of confrontation with the people. But since around three years as a MLA he never had any confrontation from the people, he said.

Shree Vikyatananda Swamiji of Bollettu Math, Hosmar Karkala said that whatever we get good or bad in life, it might be due to past life. Simplicity is the character of Pramod Madhwaraj. He is treating people of all religions for their welfare. He earned better place in politics which would be luck and destiny of ours. Working with equality never fails and it will get fruitful which can be late. Pramod is role model for other politicians. He is the sharing king for the needy.

In his address Rev Fr. Denis D’Sa Public Relation Officer of Udupi Diocese and also parish priest of Kuntalnagar Church all praise for Pramod Madhwaraj. He walks the talk. He is of a very helpful nature and always helps those who are in need. He helps others when the problem comes like shortage of water, hospitalization of the poor people. Fr. Denis D’Sa appreciated for Pramod’s presence during the Minor Basilica programme at Attur, Karkala even though he should have to visit the funeral of son of Chief Minister and later he departed to the funeral ceremony.

Maulana H. Sufiyana Sakhafi of Prof Al-Khadisha Islamic and Science Academy Mangaluru said that with the pure clean heart one can succeed in life. Pramod’s nature of helping other should be appreciated. Nationality is the first choice in the country. We can see very few politicians who built the nation. Pramod Madhwaraj has the capacity to serve the people with pure heart like his parents.

Dr. Padmaprasad Hegde, Professor and Head of Urology Department at K.M.C. Manipal said that it will be very difficult on Mondays to organize the free health camps. He said that those who participated in the free medical camp today will eligible to get free treatment at the hospital. There is no need to deposit larger sum in the hospital during the admission.

Purshotham Shetty of Ujwal Developers, Udupi was present on the dais. Earlier, the programme begun with Yaksha hymns by Subramanya Dhareshwar. H. Nithyananda Shetty of Brahmavar Block welcomed the gathering. Rohith Ullal compered the programme. Large number of people participated during the free medical checkup camp.
