Pratibha Day Celebration held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Prathibha Day celebration of St Philomena College Puttur was held on March 2, 2017 in College Quadrangle. The chief guest Rev. Fr Antony Michael Serrao, Parish Priest, St Sebastian’s Church, Bendore, Mangalore said, ‘When you put in hard work, success is definite. Nothing is impossible; with hard work everything is possible.’

 

The guest of honour Mrs. Roopa T. Shetty, Commissioner, City Municipal Council, Puttur said, ‘Participation in various competitions helps to improve confidence and develop personality.’

Very Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto, Correspondent presided over the programme. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha, President of Parents-Students Association Mr. CA Gangadhar P, President of Old Students Association Mr. M. R. Jayakumar Rai, and Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro graced the occasion.

The members of Performing Arts Association presented the prayer song. The President of Students’ Council Mr. Rakesh Rao P. G. welcomed the gathering. The Secretary Mr. Jijo Joseph presented the annual report and Joint Secretary Ms. Fathima Shirin proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Fiona Mascarenhas compered the programme.
