Prof Ever J Barbero presents talk on composite material applications at BIT

Mangaluru: Prof Ever J Barbero, professor of mechanical engineering and aero space engineering West Virginia University, USA, visited Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Innoli.

Dr Barbero an expert in composite materials addressed the students and faculty members. He explained the application of composite materials in various fields such as aviation technology, automobile engineering, construction technology and others. He said that a composite material will have much more strength than that of constituent materials.

The students and faculty members were motivated by him to take up research and higher studies. They were also given an open invitation to take up research and master programme at West Virginia University.

Principal Dr Antony AJ, HODs and faculty members were present at the programme.
