Prof Lalitha Mallya delivers talk on time at Expert PU College

Mangaluru: “Time, the most precious resource”, quoted professor Lalitha Mallya, former lecturer of biology, Indian School Muscat, Oman, in her talk at the multipurpose hall of Expert PU College, Kodailbail, here.

The first year PU students of the college were guided by professor Lalitha Mallya, to set a goal in their educational life by balancing priorities which include needs, desires and plans. She spoke to the students about setting a time-table to plan their schedule every weekend and also told them how effectively one can organize their day.

She motivated students to be active listeners in their regular classes and mentally participate in the class without breaking their focus and concentration.

Professor Lalitha Mallya also discussed about the various obstacles students face in their life and also how to overcome them. She emphasized on peer pressure, laziness, crisis management, various distractions such as television, laptop, mobiles, social networking sites, etc.

She concluded saying, “Put your plan into action,” and also encouraged the students to motivate themselves, get started and then only can they catch the drift to success.

The talk included an effective power point presentation and inspirational videos.
