Progrmme on Organ and body donation held at Milagres College.

Udupi: A programme on organ donation was organized by NSS Milagres College and Department of Nephrology KMC Manipal on World Kidney Day 7-3-2017 in Milagres College.

Dr Ravindara Prabhu and Dr Dharshan Rangaswamy of and Department of Nephrology KMC Manipal were resource persons and they explained the importance of organ donation after the brain death. Mr Srinivas Bhagavath Executive marketing KMC Manipal was the guest of honour. Principal Dr Gerald Pinto presided. NSS officers Mr Nityanand Shetty and Glenda Dmello were on the dias.

During the programme Dr Gerald Pinto the principal handed over the letter of agreement with KMC Manipal of donating his body after the death to KMC Hospital Manipal. Dr Ravindra Prabhu accepted it on behalf of KMC.
