Mangaluru: Nitte: Sarosh institute of Hotel Administration had organized a National level inter - collegiate competition "RENDEZVOUS 2018" on 10th of August. The event was inaugurated by most popular Tulu actor Mr Arjun Kapikad. Principal Prof. Amar Z Cherian welcomed the gathering, Staff coordinator Mr. Jogi Joy rendered vote of thanks, Student coordinator Mr. Bavith L Karkera gave the event report, Mr. Mervin Vas P. R. O of Student Council introduced the chief guest, Mr. Gladen D’souza was on the dais and Ms. Nichelle Rodrigues compered the program in the morning.

There was a lot of competitive spirit shown by the students from various colleges. Several competitions like Cocktail and Mocktails making, Indian Dessert, Healthy Salad, Quiz, Free Lancer, Best Manager, Flower Arrangement, Face Painting, Photography, Mad Ads and SIHA’s got talent (Cultural Activity) were conducted for the participants. The students were served with sumptuous food prepared by the college students.

After the event in the evening the Valedictory Function took place in the “UTSAV” college auditorium. It was presided by Mr. Winston Lobo, Founder and The proprietor of Foresee Coaching center, Mangalore and Mr. Uday Menon, Asst. Prof. of the college, Staff coordinator Mr. Jogi Joy, Student coordinator Mr. Bavith L Karkera were on the dais. The PUC overall championship was bagged by St. Agnes P. U college, Mangalore, and Runners up were Padua P. U college Nantoor. The Degree overall championship was bagged by S. D. M college Mangalore and Runners up were St. Aloysius college, Mangalore.

Hence the Event was ended successfully with all the support of all the colleges who participated and the students of 2nd year under the guidance of the event staff coordinator Mr. Jogi Joy and Event student coordinator Mr. Bavith Karkera.
