Ramanth Rai speaks about communal harmony

Mangaluru: A Harmony March from Farangipet to Mani lded by Forest Minister Ramanth Rai will be held on September 12. "We need to be humans first and think of communal harmony. In this context, we have decided to hold a Harmony March from Farangipet to Mani on September 12. The Harmony March will be flagged off at Farangipet at 10:30 am and will culminate at Mani. During the Harmony March we will not entertain communal forces like BJP, SDPI and PFI," Rai said.

"All the peace loving people from the district forgetting caste, creed, religion, and party should take part in the Harmony March. The March will not have any party flags or slogans in favour of any party or originations," he added.

When asked about becoming the home minister Ramanath Rai said that in his entire political career he has not demanded any portfolio. Whatever post the party will give, he said he will accept it and work for the party.
