Mangaluru: Underworld mobster Rashid Malbari’s aide Asami Mohammed Shameer was arrested from Kallantadka in Puttur on Friday.
On information about Shameer staying in Kallantadka, Kabaka in Puttur Inspector Rafiq K M of Mangaluru north division anti-rowdy squad along with his team swung into action took him to custody.
A case was filed against Shameer and Rashid Malbari at Panambur police station in 2013, on charges of collecting hafta and issuing threats. He was produced before court. Therafter he went missing.
