Record number of faithful participated at the Annual Eucharistic procession of Udupi Diocese

Udupi: After the mass, the procession led by Bishop culminated at Mount Rosary Church where Adoration of Holy Sacrament was held.

Rev Fr. Rocky D’Souza, Parish Priest of St Francis Church, Udyavar delivered the message on the Holy Bible and Eucharist and he gave the importance of both.

At the end, Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo gave gratitude to all concerned on behalf of the Milagres Cathedral, Mount Rosary Church and other deanery priests.

The parish priests and individual representatives who have done the highest collection from the parish for the diocese were honoured by the Bishop with trophy. Meanwhile, individual collection from the parishes also honoured by the Bishop.

Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo gave gratitude to all concerned for the grand arrangements by the Milagres Cathedral as well as Mount Rosary Church along with other parishes of the deanery. Rev Dr. Prakash Anil Castelino, Rev Fr. Herald Periera, Leslie Aroza and Veronica Cornelio compered the occasion.

The following churches collected the highest amount on Mission Sunday :

1st place - Moodubelle parish,
2nd place - Udupi parish,
3rd place - Attur parish
4th place - Kanajar parish
5th place - Nekre parish
Individual Collection :
1st place - Kuntalnagar,
