Rosario Cathedral's 450th jubilee inaugurated

Mangaluru: The 450th year jubilee celebration of Rosario Cathedral was inaugurated by Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop Emeritus of Diocese of Mangaluru by lighting the lamp.

Rev Fr J.B Crasta the rector of the Cathedral, retreat preachers Rev Fr Frankline D’Souza and Rev Fr Clifford Fernandes, Fr Flavian Lobo, asst parish priest Rev Fr Rocky Fernandes and Rev Fr Victor D’Souza, Fr Derek Capuchine, Sr Shubha AC, parish vice president C J Simon, parish Secretary Elizabeth Roche joined him in lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza said “Mother Mary and Holy Family are the keys to our success. When we are in difficulties we need to pray Rosary daily.”

Fr J B Crasta welcomed the gathering. Fr Flavian Lobo was the master of the ceremony and thanked the gathering.
