Mangaluru: CCB Police have arrested a Ghana national at Lobo Lane in Mallikatta on the charges of possessing cocaine worth Rs 5.5 lakh. Apart from two mobile phones, cash of Rs 3,300 has been seized from him.
The arrested person identified as Christopher. He was in India on a business visa. He had landed here two years ago but was presently living illegally even after the expiry of his visa term.
CCB Sub-Inspector Shyam Sunder led the team which arrested Christopher.
