Rt. Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha - Bishop of Mangalore inaugurated the year 2019 as ”Year of Youth” by uneviling the logo of year of youth with Yellow and White coloured balloons along with Bishop Emeritus Rt. Rev Dr Aloysius Paul Dsouza, Rev. Msgr Lawrence Maxim Noronha - Vicar General, Mangalore Diocese, Yuvaspoorthi Rev. Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza - Director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Coordinating Member - Karnataka Regional Youth Commission, Rev. Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza - Assistant Director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Rev. Fr Rupesh Madtha - Director, YCS / YSM Mangalore Diocese, Jaison Leroy Pereira, Shirthady – President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese on Sunday, 6th January 2019 after the Diocesan Eucharistic procession held at Rosario Cathedral. Jaison Leroy Pereira, Shirthady – President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese gave an introduction and significance of Year of Youth and the logo.

All the Youth directors and the leaders were present during the occasion.
