SAC wins Luke Maximiilion Rasquinha basketball tournament

Mangaluru: The Luke Maximiilion Rasquinha Basketball Tournament was held at AIMIT campus of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, on Saturday, February 11. St Aloysius College(Autonomous) were declared the champions and the AIMIT team won the runners-up trophy. Sachita Nanadagopal, executive director of the NGO Centre for Integrated Learning and a recipient of IIPP's Leadership Award was the chief guest for the final match played between St Aloysius College and AIMIT.

Addressing the students gathered, Sachita said, “Life is a Game. Play it with the spirit that will help you be a Winner. I am Privileged to be the chief guest and present awards for the Luke Maxmillion Basketball Championship at AIMIT And thank Max Rasquinha and Fr Denzil Lobo for such a beautiful evening. It is refreshing to see the youth full of energy and exuberance.”

The tournament was sponsored by Max Rasquinha, in his grandson Luke's name, and will be conducted annually.
