SAEC hold awareness programme for students of Gurpur school

Mangaluru,: St Aloysius Evening College (SAEC) Students’ Council/Humanities Association and Women’s Forum in association with Lions Club Metrogold and village panchayat Gurpur, organized an awareness programme for the students of High School Kannada medium of Gurpur Government Pre- University Composite School on February 3.

Nearly 125 students benefited from the awareness programme. Dr V Basil Hans, Samarth Shenoy, and NCC cadet Wilber Joseph Fernandez were the resource persons. Students were enlightened on the topics Swachh Bharat, personality development and career opportunities in the army.

Roopa D N, headmistress, Government Pre- University Composite School, Dr Manohar V Serrao, principal, St Aloysius Evening College, Lions Club Metrogold president Ln C S Bhandhary, secretary Ln Hariprasad Rai and SAEC Students’ Council president Hithesh Madivala were present on the occasion. Shakila Hegde, assistant professor, Political Science, SAEC coordinated the programme. Sudhesh compered the programme.
