SP Annamalai raids club in Chikkamagaluru; four policemen caught in raid

Chikkamagaluru: Superintendent of police Annamalai and his team raided a club on Sunday night and caught 38 persons who were gambling there.The team headed by Annamalai also seized Rs 45,000 from the gamblers.

Four policemen were also caught in the raid. They have been suspended. Annamalai has ordered the suspension of 4 policemen. 25 vehicles and several mobile phones were also seized with cash.

Annamalai with his personnel raided the Blue Star club at Hiremagaluru at 7 pm. They found 38 persons busy with gambling which included Yogish, Basavaraju, Poornesh and Lokesh from their own force.
