Mangaluru: Sahyadri MBA Student Project bagged the ‘Best Project of the Year Award 2017-18’ in the 41st Series of Seminar & Exhibition of Student Project Programme held at Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), Davangere, recently.
MBA students Prajwala K, Anupama P S and Jeevitha under the guidance of Dr Vishal Samartha, director-MBA won the ‘Best Project Award of the Year 2017-18’ at the Annual Seminar and Exhibition of Student Project Programme organized by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) in Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Davanagere. The title of the project is ‘Capital Budgeting Decision on Installation of Bio-Fuel Plant with special reference to Bio-Diesel from Rubber seeds’.
Ravinder Gour, scientist and member secretary (State S & T Programme) Technology Development & Transfer Division, Dept. of Science & Technology, government of India, New Delhi and Dr H Honne Gowda, special director (Technical), department of Science & Technology and also the managing director, KSTePS, government of Karnataka were the chief guests of the programme. Dr Manjappa Sarathi, director Research & Consultancy, and Dr Vidyavathi K, professor, department of Business Administration, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management were also present.
