Saint Anthony’s Annual Feast-Seventh day of novena

Saint Anthony’s Feast - Seventh day novena was held at St Anthony’s Ashram Chapel, Jeppu on June 06, 2019.

Fr Ashwin Cardoza the designate director of Indian Catholic Youth Movement of Mangalore Diocese offered the Holy Mass for the intention of youth.

Father Ashwin in his homily said that the followers of Jesus should build their life on the foundation of faith so that they can become the torchbearers for Jesus. Saint Anthony in whose honour the novena is held did the same in his young age. He was filled with zeal for Jesus. He offered his youth to serve the Kingdom of God after the example of Jesus. Father Ashwin also called on the devotees to pray for the youth who are unemployed, who suffer the addiction of drugs and alcohol, who look for suitable proposals. He said that we should pray for the youth as they are the pillars of our society.

Fr Onil D’Souza the Director of the Ashram conducted the Chaplet and the Rosary. Fr Thrishan D’Souza the Asst Director conducted the novena. Hundreds of people participated in the devotion.
