Senior intelligence officer P Vijayan retires

Mangaluru: P Vijayan, senior intelligence officer, working from Mangaluru unit of Directorate of revenue Intelligence retired from services on Thursday.

He served for 36 years and attained superannuation.

Vijayan joined DRI, Mumbai in 1981. He was also part of DRI regional unit, Mangaluru since its inception in 1988. Vijayan had associated and taken active part in all the major achievements of the DRI unit in the last few years.

He was conferred the Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificate for Specially Distinguished Record of Service on the occasion of Republic Day in 2008.
