Serial accident claim two lives in Uppinangady

Uppinangady: A serial accident between tempo tanker and bus claimed life of two persons at National Highway 75, Neerakatte in Uppinangady on August 30, Tuesday. The deceaserd are tempo driver Kurram (32) of Mysore and cleaner Rama (40) of Hassan. Shariff (33) of Kolpe is said to be critical.

It is said that a speeding tempo moving towards Nelyadi trying to overtake the tanker at a curve in Neerakatte knocked into it. Later collided with private bus (Sugama) plying from the opposite direction. In the accident all the three present in the Tempo sustained serious injuries. Rama and Kurram succumbed to injuries and died on the spot. Shariff who is critical is being treated at Hospital in Puttur.

Puttur Police are investigating the case
