Shakthi Residential School and College to hold ‘Shakthi Fest’

Mangaluru: Shakthi Fest, an academic and cultural fest will be held at Shakthinagara, on December 19 and 20 for the students of Dakshina kannada, Udupi & Kasaragod Districts to be conducted by Shakthi Residential School and College.

These competitions will be held under four categories – I ( 1 & 2 ) , II ( 3 & 4), III ( 5,6 & 7 ), IV (8,9 &10) for the students learning under both English and Kannada medium can participate. There will be 10 competitions in each category and I, II & III prizes will be given in cash or books, the same evening after the competitions. In total the prizes worth Rs. 1,25,000 will be distributed to the Students, the Principal of the School said in the press note.

The competitions include elocution in English, Kannada and Hindi, Daasara padagalu, poster making, best out of waste, science project, variety entertainment, action songs in English, Kannada and Hindi, colouring, patriotic song, storytelling in English and Kannada, identifying great personalities, collage, group dance, folk dance in group, fancy dress using papers, spell bee etc., only one student or a team can participate in every item for all as the competitions will be held simultaneously.
