Puttur,: Puttur MLA Shakuntala Shetty said that the state government under Siddaramaiah's leadership has been providing very good administration with people-friendly schemes. She said BJP is whiling away time in levelling false allegations and playing politics all the time.

"It would have been reasonable if people from the town or people living within the jurisdiction of this police station here had complained or held protest. But people from Sullia, Bantwal and Pumpwell come here and complain against the sub-inspector functioning here. How can we accept their claim?" she questioned.

Local block Congress president, Muhammed Badagannur and Renjalady mosque president, K R Hussain Darimi Renjalady, addressed the participants, and urged them to extend support to make the coming visit by the chief minister a success.
