Shanthi Baretto has been elected as the President of Women’s empowerment committee , Kundapaur

Kundapura, May 29: In the recently held elections for the term 2017-18 Shanthi Rani Baretto has been elected as the president of Catholic women’s empowerment committee of Sacred Mother Rosary Church Kundapura.

 

 

VeenaAlmeda was selected as Secretary, Juliet Pais as Treasurer, LaveenaAlmeda as Vice President, Victoria D’souza as Joint Secretary, Maria Batetto as representative of Mothiyam Paper and VinayaD’costa and ShanthiKarvallo have been elected as Ward Representatives.

Election procedures were conducted by Rev. Father of Sacred Mother Rosary church and the director of the committee Rev. Father Anil D’souza.He also wished the new committee would continue on the path of success and would undertake activities that are helpful to the society. Ex-PresidentVinayaD’costa handed over the power to the new President ShanthiBarettoand hoped that the committee would progress a great deal.
