Shobha Karandlaje attacks Congress

Udupi: Shobha Karandlaje, MP of Udupi – Chickamaglur Parliamentary Constituency said that during Indira Gandhi’s rule, Congress had powers in 18 seats. But under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, BJP holds power in 22 states in the country. The countdown has begun for the chief minister of Karnataka, said Shobha Karandlaje.

Karandlaje said that there is ticket mafia in Congress in selection of candidates. She alleged that The people of Karnataka have lost the confidence with the Congress Party.

To question on why the BJP was targeting only the Congress party during the election campaign and not the JDS, she said JDS was irrelevant in several constituencies. There is no deal with any other parties with BJP in the election, she said.
