Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji undergoes operation

Udupi: Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math underwent a surgery at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal on Wednesday. Pejawar Swamiji was admitted to the KMC hospital on Wednesday as soon as his daily religious rituals over. Doctors performed the surgery to remove a hernia tumour from Swamiji’s abdomen.

Pejawar Swamiji had undergone a hernia operation on August 20 and since then he had complained about the stomach pain several times. The doctors decided to perform the surgery after overall examinations and regarding the further surgery, doctors advised the Swamiji about the hernia tumour surgery and Swamiji decided to go for the surgery.

Swamiji will have to remain in the hospital for next couple of days and later he will be discharged.
