Srilanka PM Ranil Wickremesinghe visits Kollur Shrine

Kundapur: Srilanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived at the famous Kollur Shree Mookambika Shrine at 11 am to offer special pooja to the Goddess. The Srilanka Prime Minister who first arrived at the Mangaluru International Airport left for Kollur in a special helicopter of the Airforce which landed at the Areshiroor Helipad at 10.30 am. From there he travelled by car to reach the shrine.

The Srilanka Prime Minister was accorded a traditional welcome at the entrance of the shrine by the temple authorities. Heavy security arrangements were made in the temple town ahead of the visit of the Srilankan Prime Minister. All shops leading to the shrine had also been asked to shut down.

He prayed to God and ledt at around 1.30 PM.
