Srinivas Institute of Technology bags national award for 'Best Documented Project'

Mangaluru: The students of Architecture department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, here bagged national award for the 'Best Documented Project' instituted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. The documentation mainly focused on architectural heritage in India and students' documented project titled 'Documentation of Rosario Cathedral, Mangaluru'.

Certificate of Excellence and a cash prize of Rs 75,000 were awarded at the ceremony held at NDMC Convention Center, New Delhi.

The winning comprising of 12 students of architecture department presented the document under the guidance of Ar Caroline D’Souza, Conservation Architect & Associate Professor of the department.

The HOD, Ar Vasudev Shet, dean Ar Kumarchandra dept of Architecture, Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college and management of Srinivas Group of Colleges heartily congratulated the students for their hard work and achievement.
