Srinivas Institute of Technology organises sports day

Mangaluru: Sports Day was organised at Srinivas Institute of Technology at its Valachil campus on February 7.

Dr Thomas Pinto, HOD, mechanical engineering department, inaugurated the formal function and lauded the students for their keen interest and enthusiasm in organising the event. He also motivated the students to exploit their sporting talent by participating in various events.

The programme began with march-past from the students of various departments and then followed by various athletic events for both UG and PG sections. The winners were awarded at the end of the day.

Sports coordinator Prof Janardhan Bhat, HOD, information science department, physical directors Supriya Adiga and Jayachandra were also present on the occasion.
