Mangaluru: The Christmas season began on a very joyous note at St Agnes CBSE School. The campus was filled with an air of merry making from the start of the day. A marvelous Christmas programme was put up by the 3rd, 6th and 8th graders of the school.

Fr Salvadore D’Cunha assistant manager of Assisi Press, Bejai came to grace the occasion. After extending a cordial welcome to the chief guest and the principal, the programme began with a short prayer service and a welcome dance.

The chief guest helped the students understand the true meaning of Christmas and how important it is for us to be humane in this inhuman world.

The message of Nativity was very well explained by the 3rd graders through an amalgamation of dance and drama. The programme included a skit which spread the message of the joy of living and with a number of dances which brought out the Christmas spirit.

Students who excelled in sports and extracurricular activities were awarded prizes.
