St. Agnes College: Inter- Collegiate History Quiz Competition – Master Mind 2020.

The department of History in association with Manusha (Mangalore University History Teachers Association) organised a University level Inter- Collegiate History Quiz Competition for the undergraduate college students on 6 th March 2020 to explore and unravel the historical consciousness among the students. Sr.Dr. M. Jeswina A.C, Principal of St. Agnes College presided over the programme.

Dr. Savithri. K, Principal of Canara Evening College and an Agnesian Alumna was the inaugurator. Speaking on the occasion, she said that History was the treasure House of Knowledge and quizzing helps to explore and expand the horizon of one’s depth of Knowledge and St. Agnes College has been fostering knowledge for a century in the History of west coast India. Dr. Sujaya Suvarna, Associate Professor of History of Sri Gokarnatheshwara College was the Guest of Honour.

Mrs. Meera, Head of the department of history the programme co-ordinator welcomed the gathering. Ms. Tiffany Barrett faculty member ,Department of History compared the event. Ms. Faheema, Student Secretary proposed the Vote of thanks.

Over 25 colleges from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts participated in this event. GFG College, Haleyangadi bagged the winners trophy and GFC College ,Melkar,Bantwal bagged the runners up trophy.
