St Agnes College(Autonomous) inaugurates Six-day workshop on Mobile App Development

The Department of Computer Applications will be organising a workshop on ‘Mobile App Development’ from 21 to 26 October, 2019 for the BCA students.

The main objective of the workshop is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and hands on practical experience on Mobile App Development using Android. The workshop will include most of the basic concepts of Android application development.

The workshop was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Hareesh Neermarga, Managing Director & CEO Accolade Tech Solutions Mangalore, Vice-principal Sr Dr Venissa A C and the Head of the Department of Computer Applications, Mrs Malavika Shetty.

Mr. Harish Neermarga spoke on the importance of mobile apps in today’s market. Mobile app developers are in great demand nowadays because of the growing number of internet users and subsequent increase in mobile apps.

Sr Dr Venissa A C told the students that by participating in the workshop they were on the right path of learning and pursuing a career in mobile application development.

Thirty one students participating in the workshop will be trained by three subject experts from Accolade Tech Solutions.

Ms. Aafreen, the Student Secretary of the Department welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Malavika Shetty, Head of the Department of Computer Applications proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Swedel was the MC.
