St Aloysius BEd College celebrates Christmas with children

Mangaluru: The festival of commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ was celebrated at the St Aloysius BEd College with the children of Government Primary School, Kapikad.

The BEd trainees conducted various fun games and recreational activities for the children.

Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, rector, St Aloysius College Institutions was the president of the programme. In his message he said, "Christmas is the manifestation of God’s love. The real meaning of Christmas can be experienced when it is celebrated with poor, marginalized and underprivileged. St Aloysius College Institutions give priority to develop empathy and compassion in their students."

Sr Reena and group performed a dance drama on the theme ‘God becoming human’. Christmas carols exuded warmth in the audience led by Sr Lehera and her group. Tejaswini welcomed the gathering, Sr Lehera and group conducted a prayer, Maria highlighted the significance of celebrating Christmas, Younis delivered the vote of thanks.

Santa Claus mesmerised the children and the audience.
