Mangaluru: The department of Journalism, St Aloysius College (autonomous) along with team Birugali (SAC Drama) here, recently organised a theatre workshop 'Rangadarpana' at Jeevandaan, Gurpur.

The resource person, Durga Prasad, member of Journey Theatre Group, began the session with an icebreaker and performed a small play before the children. Around three theater games were taught to the children. Toward the end of the programme, the members of 'Birugali' team along with the resource person, acted before the children.

During the valedictory, Mother Superior addressed the children and offered her positive opinion about the session. She also encouraged the children to enter theatre.

St Aloysius College (autonomous), always encourages the students to conduct such programmes. It has provided full-fledged infrastructure facilities in the college itself and the students can make best use of them. Ample opportunities are made available for students to develop their God-given talents in different capacities.

Besides this, the college always supports the students to go beyond the curriculum and showcase their talents in society.
