St Aloysius College participates in State level Drama Competition

Mangaluru: Students of the Dramatics Association, St Aloysius College(Autonomous) secured the second place in the final state level round of a drama competition organised by the Government of Karnataka, Kannada Samskriti Elake and Rangayana at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bengaluru on March 3 and 4. Over 246 colleges participated from all over Karnataka participated in competition all in all.

The students performed the play 'Agnivarna' written by H S Venkateshwarmurthy and directed by Bhavya Shetty.

The drama competition comprised of three levels- district, divisional and state. The troupe bagged the first place in both the district and divisional level held in Mangaluru and Mysuru respectively.

Prizes were given away to winners by Dayanand, director of Kannada Samskriti Elake, Bengaluru.

The principal, staff and management expressed immense pride in the students who worked tirelessly for the last six months to achieve success.
