St Anthony’s Jeppu celebrates feast of Rosary

Mangaluru: St Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Rosary on 6th of October 2016. On this occasion Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu the Vicar General of the diocese celebrated Holy Mass at Holy Rosary convent Jeppu at 5.30pm. 15 priests from around the city concelebrated the mass.

 

 

This was followed carrying decorated Mother Mary’s statue to St Ashram, Jeppu in a candle light procession. During the procession on the way rosary was recited and hymns were sung in honour of Mother Mary.

At the campus Fr Anil Kiran Fernandes from Divine Centre Mulki preached a meaningful homily highlighting the importance of praying rosary.

Konkan Myna Mrs Meena Rebimbus along with the Jeppu choir, Mr Prem Kumar and group sang songs to Mother Mary. Mrs Merul and party from St Joseph Nagar performed beautiful dance in honour of Mother Mary.

At the end all were served meals. Fr Onil D’Souza the director of St Anthony Institutes proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs Pamla Santos compeered the programme.

More than 2,500 people took part in the Mass and the procession.
