St Cecily’s High School holds annual day

Udupi: St Cecily’s High School organized its annual school day.

Dr Vincent Alva, principal, Milagres College, Kallianpur was the chief guest of the event, while Fr Valerian Mendonca, chancellor, diocese of Udupi and parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, and Amitanjai R, headmistress, Vasudeva Krupa Vidya Mandir, Bailoor were the guests of honour.

The guests were led by the elegant school band.

Vincent Alva, addressed the gathering and said, “Parents should give their children the freedom to choose their future”.

Fr. Valerian Mendonca and Amitanjali applauded the efforts of the school in making its students role models full of values. The president on the occasion Sr Mairie congratulated the staff and students.

Sportsmen and top scorers in academics were felicitated by the guests. This was followed by a thematic variety entertainment programme.
