Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangaluru celebrated the Holy Mass in honour Our Lady of Lourdes on 11th February at 6.30 p.m. at Jeppu Church grounds. The in his homily said that lot of people who visit Lourdes get healed of their sickness. Many more return back as changed persons. What is important for a believer is that he/she should change life before approaching God to seek favour. Mother Mary intercedes for us but we should approach her with a change of heart. Around twenty priests concelebrated the Mass. At the end of the Mass the Bishop distributed gifts to the elderly and prayed for the sick.
