State Kho Kho player commits suicide

Belthangady: A young state level Kho Kho player found dead in a well at Kokradi Village near Belthangady on October 8, Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Sushmitha (17) daughter of Mohananda and Prema couples, resident of Kokradi. She was the student of second PUC (Commerce) at Kokradi Government PU College.

On Friday night after she had dinner along with her family, but next day morning she was missing from her house.The family went in search for her and she was found dead in the well in front of the house.

Sushmitha was good at studies and she was chosen for state level Kho Kho competition. The reason for the death is not known. A case has been registered.
